What is Title IX?
A Federal Regulation that protects everyone, both students and staff, from sexual misconduct and discrimination regardless of:
*Gender
*Sexual Orientation
*Gender Identity
*Gender Expression

This means you have a right to be free from:
*Unequal treatment in educational programs or employment
*Sexual Harassment, such as unwelcome sexual advances, stalking or harassment on social media,
*Sexual violence, such as sexual assault, dating violence or domestic violence

    This statement is in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; the Age Discrimination Act of 1975; the Regulations of the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services issued pursuant to the Acts, Title 45 Code of Federal Regulations Part 80, 84, and 91; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; and the Regulations of the U. S. Department of Education, Title 34 Code of Federal Regulations Part 106; Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.  (Other federal laws and regulations provide similar protection against discrimination on grounds of sex and creed.)
