What is Title IX?
A Federal Regulation that protects everyone, both students and staff, from sexual misconduct and discrimination regardless of:
*Gender
*Sexual Orientation
*Gender Identity
*Gender Expression
This means you have a right to be free from:
*Unequal treatment in educational programs or employment
*Sexual Harassment, such as unwelcome sexual advances, stalking or harassment on social media,
*Sexual violence, such as sexual assault, dating violence or domestic violence

Department of Health and Human Services issued pursuant to the Acts, Title 45 Code of Federal Regulations Part 80, 84, and 91; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; and the Regulations of the U. S. Department of Education, Title 34 Code of Federal Regulations Part 106; Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. (Other federal laws and regulations provide similar protection against discrimination on grounds of sex and creed.)
