Early Release Schedule

To help ease transportation costs, the District has ten schools that run a later schedule than our standard elementary schedule. These schools are:
- Amity
- Dallas Harris
- Hawthorne
- Hillcrest
- Lincoln Early Learning Center
- Lowell
- Morley Nelson
- Owyhee
- Riverside
- Shadow Hills
- Whittier
Normal Schedule
- Grades K - 6
- 9:15 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
Early Release Schedule
- Grades K - 6: 9:15 a.m. - 1:45 p.m. (lunch served)

The following start and release times are approximate. Please check with your junior high school for exact times as they vary by a few minutes depending on the school.
Normal Schedule
- 7:45 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Early Release Schedule
Due to bus scheduling, Junior High early release times vary depending on whether or not there is an elementary early release on the same date.
- With Elementary: 7:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (no lunch served)
- Without Elementary: 7:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. (lunch served)
