To recognize these outstanding contributions, the Boise School District proudly celebrates staff members through three special recognition programs:
🍎 Red Apple Award
⭐ Golden Apple Award
🍏 Green Apple Award
These awards highlight individuals who go above and beyond to support student success and strengthen our school communities.
During the school year, these awards are presented monthly by the Boise School Board to recognize individuals who consistently go above and beyond in service to students, their schools, and the Boise School District community.
These awards highlight individuals whose dedication, leadership, and commitment help strengthen our schools and support student success. Recognizing Outstanding Certified Staff
The Red Apple Award recognizes certified staff members who demonstrate exceptional commitment to teaching, learning, and student success.
Recipients may include:

The Golden Apple Award honors classified employees whose dedication, professionalism, and commitment make a meaningful difference for students and colleagues.
These individuals play an essential role in supporting our schools through positions such as:

If you would like to nominate someone for a Red Apple, Golden Apple, or Green Apple Award, please share your recommendation with your school principal and/or school or district administrator or supervisor. School and district leadership review nominations and help identify individuals who exemplify the spirit of these awards.
